Happy Chinese New Year 兔 (to) You~!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! It is the year of the Rabbit now!  Chinese New Year is super exciting and fun when you are spending it in an Asian country but it's the same thing every year here in boring ol' Perth. So anyway every year it's tradition that all my relatives in Perth gets together on CNY eve to have big chinese new year feast and watch the CNY show on the chinese channel on satellite TV. 

So just a quick post to share with you what we had for dinner!

Century Eggs and  卤蛋 dunno what that is in english..I think it's tea eggs or something like that..

Ok and my favvv dish of all~~ ta-dah~ abalone and chicken soup!! The chicken is fresh fresh chicken... because urm.. we buy the chicken from the farm and urm...XXX ourselves then cook it and make it into soup.. but it's super yummy cos the chicken is very tender >.< oops

Anywayyyy~~~ Hope everyone around the world esp in Asia is having great CNY celebrations! Hope I will catch some of the excitement when I go holidays on the 9th~ Cos the celebrations last for 14 days right? 

And I heard there's a LOT of sales in Hong Kong - Post CNY sales...YAYYY cant wait ^__^ 

And gambling in Macau would/should be exciting around that time too right? hahaha

So glad I got today and tomorrow off work! Going to do my hair tomorrow... I know it's bad luck to wash your hair on CNY day... But it's the only day I can do it before I go on hols..So I have no choice...I want to have pretty hair and take pretty photos on my hol...=( So in exchange for that I *might* (touchwood) have to sacrifice a year of good luck for nice hair fml  =___=

so will def post up photos of my new hair when it's done!

Retail Therapy = Happy Yuki

 First of all... yay! Finally finished making my blog banner~ ^__^ hope you all like it! Now my blog looks much better! And hopefully more and more people will come and read =)

So today I went night shopping because it's Thursday and I finally bought No! No! so I can cross that off my wish list~ Also I got my pre-order of Little Big Planet 2 anddd a 38mm VS Sassoon hot curler!

LBP2 came out today! Got it from EB game for 83aud, they did a price match with JB hi-fi and if you pre-order you get a little Sac Boy Plush which is delayed because of the Queensland floods but at least I can get my game for now

EB's price was actually 109! that's like 30 more expensive than JB! So if you want to buy this game I suggest you go to JB but EB will do a price match for you anyway if you end up getting it from EB

My bf and I playing~ customising our characters...

My character is obviously the girl and his is the creepy white eye one T__T;

What do I think of it so far... well it's pretty much the same as Little Big Planet but with new levels and new things to play with but because I don't have wireless internet it's not as worth it to get this game because if you got wireless internet you can go online with ur ps3 and download levels other players created so you basically get 34982309 more new levels to play with

But the good thing about this game is that it's 1-4 players so next Wed on Aus day I'm going to have friends come over with their ps3 controllers and play it together!

But yeh I think this game makes me really frustrated because I'm actually really bad at playing games that require good timing skills cos your characters jump around and stuff and because my timing sucks I always miss and keep dying =.= So after an hour or so of playing I get so frustrated I want to hurl my controller at the tv 

So why did I even get the LBP2 again..?? I don't even know.. maybe because I like to torture myself? 

Anyway moving on... so I was contemplating whether I should get the 38mm hot curler or not because I already have a 25mm hot curler AND hot rollers of 3 different sizes but....

Cos last night I saw this youtube...

and that basically convinced me to get this...

Except I think my hair is too long for that hair style.. fml -.-; Oh well but the 38mm is really good for creating the really nice soft big curls and I find hot curler much easier to use than the hot rollers but I will leave that for another post

Anyway so yeh now I have one more thing for me to bring to Melb fml >.< Also I got scolded by my bf for wasting money on more useless stuff that I already have... But it's only 29aud!!! Yeh that's right! Hell cheap right? hehehe nvm.. only girls will understand @.@

I will post up a review some time when I start using it.. maybe tomorrow =)

And leaving the best til last... the most important purchase of the day.....

Yesss Finally got my no!no! It's the new model! Bit pricey - 349aud butttt here is my reasoning...

It's worth it because every time I go to salons to do IPL for underarm it costs me 100aud so now that I have no no I no longer need to go to do IPL anymore so basically by saving myself just 3 trips to the salon I already got my money back! Furthermore I can use no! no! like everywhere on my body! 

For those who don't know what no!no! is .. it's a laser alternative that reduces hair regrowth

I will write a post later on with reviews and more info about this *cos I got the pamphlet with all the info on it bwahaha*

But *apparently* no! no! reduces hair up to 94%

All the myers in Perth were sold out of the new model due to Christmas and they JUST got new stock in like today, same as Shavers but both places only had the silver one in stock and I wanted to wait for the pink one but who knows when the pink one is going to come in... So I didn't want to wait anymore so I got it today!

Don't worry I will just bling it later will all pink Swarovski crystals so it will end up looking better than the pink one anyway! 

Ok that's all for now, I'll do two separate post later on reviews for the hot curler and no! no! =)

2011 New Year resolution

• Be less lazy
• Be more tidy

I think that has been my NY resolution for past how many years now? But I don't think I have ever achieved it lol... But at least I will still (unsuccessfully) remind myself to change in those two aspects which I believe are my two biggest flaws >.<

• Stop wasting money on things I will not really use
• Buy Liz Lisa, Duffy and Peach John in Hk! ^__^ (Ok.. that's not really a resolution but at least it makes up for my biggest regrets of 2010!)

Haha ok I think those two resolutions is kind of contradictory.. But I will DEF use Liz Lisa, Duffy and Peach John so it will definitely not be wasting money!

• Keep in contact with all my friends when I move to Melbourne
• Continue to actively update my blog!

I think these two resolution is fairly easy to achieve esp with advanced technology and all =) Facebook, Skype and iPhone (Whatsapp and  Viber) is basically all you need ^__^

• Start saving money? (I think this one is impossible.. but I guess I can try?)

I am curious and looking forward to what 2011 will bring for me

But I have a feeling some major life changing moments will occur in this year for me but I'm really hoping it's for the better...

2011 New Year resolution

Reflections of 2010

I think I can say that 2010 has been an awesome year for me… especially now that I look back on all the photos taken in the past year

The year started off with my best friend Zhao Li leaving for Korea for a year~ =(

Then I went on holiday to Malaysia - Penang and then to Japan - Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo with my lao gong and his family~ It was an awesome trip of course since I LOVE Japan so much!

And of course we went to Disneyland but this time I went to Disneysea instead which is even better than Disneyland! =)

Then I came back home to start my last year of Uni and also probably one of the most stressful semesters since I had to balance full time Uni AND work! Thank god I survived and I was rewarded with the BEST holiday of my LIFE!

I went to Korea for 8 days to visit my Best Friend and we had the time of our lives! Also met a lot of new friends there as well!

Then I went to Shen Zhen to find my mui mui Kara! She was sooo nice! Taking me around everywhere and was a REALLY good host! Must return the favour some day when she come find me in Penang ^_^

Came back from my awesome trip and began semester 2 - final semester of Uni! Yay ^__^

Competed as Vicki's hair model in the National IHS hair competition in September. I know totally don't look like me right? But loved the hair! So awesome!

Then I went to Singapore in October with my bestest friends from work to celebrate Khin's 21st!

Had an awesome time even though I lost money in casino! hahah But it was a really good experience. Also met up with Levi and Comy and introduced me to their gorgeous girlfriends Elaine and Voon! You guys were so fun to party with! Had the best clubbing experience EVER!! 

Then came back had my exams and then it was December! My favourite month of the year! Because it's my birthday, Christmas and New Years! Had the best birthday ever! Thank you guys so much!

Then I partied hard at my first and probably last Christmas Staff Party!! xxx Love you guys!

And that was my 2011 in a nutshell!

2010 has also been the year of traveling/holidaying for me! I think it’s the year where I went out of the country the most! 3 times! And all three times was to awesome destinations – Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Shen Zhen, Singapore, Malaysia. I think the best is definitely the Korea/Hk trip! So much drinking, partying, and of course shopping! Also because I was able to meet up with my best friends (Zhao Li, Duo duo and Kara Love you guys so much!) and at the same time met a lot of new friends!

Also had the best birthday ever and an awesome time at the staff Christmas Party! Also the first year I became so close with friends from work because usually I don’t really hang out with people from work but this is the longest job I've ever had so far so that's probably why!
